The Law Of Allowing: How To Begin Accepting Positivity

There are always things to be unhappy about if we look for them. 

According to the Law of Attraction, our experiences and opportunities are all created by our mindset.

In other words, our positive or negative beliefs control the experiences we face, and ultimately, our outer world is a reflection of our thoughts. 

In order to reap the benefits of this concept, however, it’s essential that we learn to accept positivity as it comes.

This does not mean having all that you want in life. Rather, it means you are prepared to accept what you want. 

You can shift your mindset to a place of allowing by adjusting thoughts and feelings to reflect how you will feel once you do have everything you wished for. 

Spend a few moments each day considering what it would feel like to achieve your dreams and receive abundance from the world.

Consider everything you want in life. You may wish to write down how you think it will feel when you get it. 

It’s going to take some time getting comfortable here, but the sooner you start to understand the feelings of receiving, the sooner your mind will allow you to accept those feelings. 

The Power Of “Thank You” 

Another way to practice the Law of Allowing is by challenging yourself to say “yes” to all of the positive things you receive in life. 

Now, this does not mean becoming a “yes man.” In fact, this has nothing to do with saying yes to the requests of others. 

We still want to practice boundaries and remember to prioritize ourselves. The Law of Allowing simply says to accept the good

One way to do this is by thanking those who do or say something kind. 

By saying “thank you,” you are acknowledging and receiving what has been said with gracious open arms. This creates space in your mind for more positivity to come. 

Affirmations 

Similar to compliments, affirmations are positive words or phrases used to uplift our mindset and emotions. 

You may also wish you utilize affirmations to enhance your allowance for positivity.

Once you’ve found an affirmation that makes sense to you, the key is going to be repetition.
