Chakras are important energy centers within your body, running from the base of your spine up through the crown of your head.
As we move throughout our day to day lives, its normal for our chakras to become out of balance. We tend to place stress or negativity onto different chakras, depending on the situation that we’re dealing with at the moment, and to counter this tendency, you can take the time periodically to cleanse and align your chakras.
Here are a few of my favorite meditations for balancing the seven chakras and healing any chakra alignment issues you may be facing.

Meditations to Balance The 7 Chakras
The first two meditations I’m going to share with you are specifically designed to counter any imbalances in your energy and align all 7 chakras. I’ve picked two meditations that are very different styles, and also different lengths, in order to allow you to choose the one that works best for you.
10 Minute Guided Meditation for Aligning the Chakras
The first meditation is only ten minutes long, and is a great way to kickstart your day. I also like to incorporate this meditation into the middle of the day, whenever I’m having a rough week.
Because it’s only 10 minutes, it’s easy to take a few minutes to yourself after lunch or between projects as you’re moving throughout the day, as long as you have a quiet place you can sit and relax by yourself.
30 Minute Sleep Meditation for Beginners: Chakra Alignment
This next meditation is a little longer, and is designed to help you relax before bed. Personally, I think it’s best to do this meditation while seated, just before you go to bed, but you might also want to listen to it while lying in bed, allowing the music and guided instructions to help lull you to sleep.
Either way, it’s a great end to a busy day, and always helps me to have a deep, restful sleep and wake up fully energized and ready to go the next morning!
Aura Cleansing Meditation
The last meditation I want to share with you here is an aura cleansing meditation.
There is a slight distinction between cleansing your aura and aligning your chakras, which I don’t have time to explore in this post, but I still think this meditation is great for balancing the chakras.
The point of cleansing the aura is related to healing any negativity, and this meditation moves through each chakra center in order to do so.
