What Is The Vortex of Attraction? The Teachings of Abraham

If you’ve listened to any Abraham Hicks recordings or read any of the books, you’ve probably heard her speak about “The Vortex.”

If you’re new to the teachings of Abraham, the idea of a vortex of attraction or a vortex of energy can be a little confusing, so in this post I want to take a few minutes to explain what the vortex is and how you can use it.

What Is The Vortex?

According to Abraham, the vortex is a non-physical realm that holds all of your desires.

It fits directly into Step 2 of Abraham’s 5 step system of alignment, and is the “place” where your desire sits waiting for you to come into alignment with it.

The easiest way to think about how the vortex works is to think of it in terms of vibration. According to The Law of Attraction, you will always experience the world according to your individual vibration.

Whenever you have a desire that you do not experience, it is because that desire exists at a different vibration.

The desire already exists. This is a fundamental point most people miss. You don’t have to “go get” the things you want, you simply have to adjust your energy to the point at which you can experience them.

The best way to visualize this idea is to think about changing channels on a tv or radio. You can watch sports, or you can watch the news, or a sitcom. You change the program by changing the frequency the television receives. The news channel still exists, even when you’re watching sports.

The same is true for your experience. Every possible experience already exists, even if you’re not tuned in to the right vibration.

How To Enter Your Vortex

To ‘enter’ your vortex, you must understand that you’re not “going” to any physical place. Accessing your vortex means gaining control of your vibration.

You need to learn how to change your vibration to immediately access what you want.

Basically, you change your vibration by becoming aware of your current energy, and changing your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions.

In other words, focus on what you want, and find a way to feel good about it, even before you can see it in your day to day life. This is the secret of manifestation. The process is easier than it sounds, and there are a number of exercises you can try to experience it first hand.

Priotize your mood over everything else, learn to get happy despite negative appearances, and you’ll be on your way to manifesting your dreams.
