Are you struggling to achieve abundance in your life? Does success always seem to stay just one step ahead of you?
In the modern world – with 1,000 demands on our time, money, health, and other resources – it is easy to feel overcome with a sense of lack, rather than prosperity.
When we are focused on lack, we forget the reality of the abundance that is already before us.
In this post, I want to share a few ideas that can help you to shift your perspective and achieve more abundance in your life.
Recognize That Abundance Is Everywhere
One of the first obstacles to achieving abundance in our lives is the tendency to focus on lack. Whenever we want something, our minds immediately jump to all the reasons we can’t have it.
Here’s how it happens: We have a desire, look around, and see that we don’t yet have the thing we want. As a result, we believe in lack, rather than prosperity.
The truth is, this is only a mindset, a belief you hold about the world. It seems strong, so you believe it is the truth.
But. you could just as easily believe something different.
The next time you think you lack something, try affirming the abundance that is already around you. From the number of leaves on the tree outside your window, to the trillions of dollars that zip around the globe every second, recognize that abundance already is.
You just need to get into the flow of it.
Abundance Is A Mindset
Once you acknowledge the abundance that is already in the world, you can begin to shift your perspective. This is what Bob Proctor calls a paradigm shift. You move vibrationally from a belief in lack to a belief in prosperity.
When you change your vibration, the world around you changes as a result.

You Can Program Your Mind Through Meditation and Autosuggestion
Once you acknowledge that abundance is nothing more than a belief you hold about yourself, you can begin to program your mind to change the way you think, and receive more prosperity into your life.
You can do this through meditation (I’ll list a few of my favorite abundance meditations below), or you can do it through positive affirmations.
Reframing your beliefs in this way is a technique known as autosuggestion. Autosuggestion, simply means that you affirm an idea to yourself long enough until you begin to believe that it is true. Read more about how autosuggestion works to reprogram the subconscious mind.
