Are you at a crossroads and unsure which way to go? Have an important life decision ahead of you and don’t know where to begin? If so, you should try this meditation.
Meditation is a powerful tool that can be used to help you clear your mind, reduce misguided and unnecessary thoughts, gain clarity about what it is you truly want, and set your intention to help you find the best path you can take to get there.
In this post I’ll provide a guided meditation for decision making.
Why Use Meditation to Help Make a Decision
If you’re feeling confused, stuck, or unsure about what it is you want to do or how you can take your next step, meditation is an excellent technique to help you make good decisions about your path.
Even after a single session of meditation, you begin to change your brain chemistry, releasing “happy hormones,” endorphins that lead to better judgment and clarity.
The reason is because meditation is a tool that helps you to let go. As you relax into a meditation and begin to focus your attention on your breath, you allow excess negativity to release. This means that the conflict you have created for yourself begins to dissolve and, as it does, you make room to receive intuitive guidance and inspiration about what the right course of action is for you.
By connecting to your inner self in this way, you empower yourself to proceed down the highest path that is right for you, not the path that your ego-driven mind believes it should take. It helps you to visualize your aim, and, through the process of visualization, you find clarity and purpose.
If you don’t believe me, you’ll have to try it out for yourself, or, read more about how to use visualization/empowerment-exercises/3-visualization-techniques-for-success-at-any-goal.
