Abraham Hicks Explains How To Use Your Emotional Grid

If you’re familiar with the teachings of Abraham Hicks, you’ve probably heard her speak about the emotional grid. Unfortunately, in many of her seminar videos, Abraham references the grid, without really explaining it.

So, in this post we’re going to lay out exactly how to prepare your grid and use it to accelerate your momentum towards your desires.

What Is The Emotional Grid? Abraham Explains

You emotional grid is a key part of the framework for how you can use the law of vibration to manifest your desires.

At its core, your emotional grid has to do with where you place you focus. Whenever you have a desire, you can imagine yourself laying a “grid” that represents your point of attraction. In order to manifest your desire, you need to fill the grid in by choosing to focus consistently on positive emotions.

In this video, Abraham Hicks explains the grid in one of the clearest explanations I’ve heard. The explanation starts around the 3 minute mark.

Preparing the Grid

To prepare your grid, you have to achieve two things: clarity, and receptivity.

At first, don’t worry about whether or not your desire appears possible or realistic, simply prepare to fill in your grid by becoming open to the idea that the universe will manifest for you anything that you desire.

When you clarify your aim, you begin to create a little bit of excitement about it. Clarity is almost always a good-feeling state, so when you combine clarity with receptivity, you have taken the first step towards alignment, and allowing your desire to come to you.

Accelerating the Grid Filling In

As you move towards your manifestation, you will see and feel evidence of your grid filling in. You fill in your grid by focusing on positive emotions, and using the 22 processes from Ask and It Is Given to consistently improve your emotional state of being.

As your energy improves, you will begin to see evidence in the world around you.

The first piece of evidence is ALWAYS the way that you feel. If you trust that feeling good is the first step towards your manifestation, then you will allow yourself to sit for a longer period of time within that state of being. As you continue to place your focus on good feeling thoughts, you will accelerate the momentum you have.

Then, you will begin to see evidence of your manifestation in the physical world. Don’t look for your manifestations yet (that will slow your momentum) but instead focus on the simple ways in which things are going well for you. You may notice that things begin to happen more easily and more effortlessly for you. This is the evidence that you are truly accelerating towards your desire.

Using The Grid for Relationships, Money, and Health

When you are consistently in a positive state of energy and feel life beginning to turn in your favor, you are well on your way towards the manifestation of your desires.

The point to realize is that this process is the same whether you want to use the grid for relationships, money, health, or simply a general state of well-being.

The topic does not matter. The emotion matters.

One of the biggest obstacles people face is that they think they need to focus their attention on the one subject that they want most desperately. More often than not, this introduces limiting, negative energy, rather than positive energy, since there is often a feeling that the “one big desire” has not yet happened.

The point of the grid is to focus always on the positive emotions, regardless of whether or not those emotions appear to be related to the subject you’re trying to manifest.
