You may have seen the iridescent gemstones that have been making their way into mainstream stores. You may also be familiar with crystals. They are used for the holistic healing properties they exude. If you want to find out more about them and how they work with the chakras, keep reading.
How Crystals Work
Everything is made up of energy and gives off its own vibrational frequency. This is how the law of attraction works to manifest your physical reality. This is also why people work with positive affirmations, meditation, and even energy work such as Reiki to adjust their energy field to be in resonance with high vibrations.
This is also to remove blockages from the chakra system so that prana (our life-force energy that connects us all) can run freely through them. We are healthy and at peace when our energy is moving freely and not stagnant. Learn more about what causes the chakras to be blocked here.
The law of entrainment explains the foundation behind why people work with crystals. This means that when two vibrations come together the lower one rises to meet the higher one as they begin to harmonize.
When meditation with a crystal or simply having it around you, your energy field will come into resonance with that crystal. Crystals, gemstones, and minerals have been used in sacred traditions since ancient times.
Each crystal just like it has its own unique vibration, it has its own unique healing properties. These means different crystals specialize in healing different chakras.
They vibrate at high frequencies which opens the chakra system. This happens because your energy field will come into harmony with the crystal. If you picture the crystal like an anchoring point, you can see that having it around you will bring your chakras into vibrational balance.
We will provide a list below of what crystals you can use to work with each chakra. Although an easy but general way to find out is the color of the stone directly correlates the chakra that matches its color.
